Easy Street Burgers: Reviews & Ratings

This is a place I dream about eating at in between visits. It's a restaurant like any other new restaurant who took a chance and opened in a building within their startup price range. However, the quality of their food and the incredible reputation it spawned quickly surpassed their "take a financial risk" phase of their business. If you've been there, you'd know their customers are practically banging down the door for their chance at trying an Easy Street Smash Burger for good reason. Their prices are a little on the higher side of market, but is justified based on their insatiable customer demand. Their customers always appear to be happy to pay it, clearly as they're almost always busy. Their employees always look like they're having fun to me, which is a great sign of a happy working environment. And happier workers tend to take pride in the product they represent. So it all adds up as to why Easy Street Burger developed such an awe inspiring great reputation. I definitely recommend the "Filthy" style if you're ordering. I get the double as well. They've been generous with their fry portions and their wild sauce is incredible. If this were a long time established business, I'd likely ding them a star for parking. But that's not exactly their fault as a startup. They took a chance and it paid off in spades. Hopefully they move this location to a spot with better parking, if not expand for the same reason. They deserved it, and the community deserves them.

Of course we had to come here after Keith Lee blew it up all over social media! My bf and I came here on a Wednesday afternoon, thankfully with no line at all! There's a good amount of seating inside, but my bf and I chose to sit outside because it was such a nice day. Next to the register there's a Keith Lee Certified sign which we thought was hella funny. We both ordered a single smash burger with grilled onions and fries, except I asked for the sauce on the side (I wanted to taste the burger without sauce first). When we got our food, there was sauce on both burgers, so we sent one back to have remade. They were so apologetic about making the order wrong that they gave us a double smash burger and a drink! Such a kind gesture. The burger was SO so flavorful on a soft bun with caramelized onions. The flavor isn't just like your typical burger, there was something different about this that elevated it, which I can see why so many people love it! The fries were just okay. Maybe we should've ordered a different kind of fries. I'm really glad we tried this place! It deserves all the hype it's getting because it's a really good burger!!! (But it wasn't our favorite smash burger hehe). I would def come back to eat this again when I'm in LA.

Smashed burgers is the newest food craze and I am here for it. I had the Double Burger without pickles and my husband had the Double Jalapeno Monster and we shared the Cajun fries. My burger was really tasty. I love the cheese and the patty ratio. The Cajun fries are a must here! The seasoning is AMAZING. Get the at least the double patty because the patties are smashed so you'll actually want to eat the meat. There is street parking or a small parking lot on the side. The time we waited for the food wasn't too bad. It does get busy so you will probably wait a few minutes to find a table to sit. You will probably have to wait a few minutes to find a table to sit. I really liked that as soon as we sat down someone wiped down the table.

Yummm great burgers and a pretty sizable menu. Ordered a double with some cajun fries, but curious about the jalapeño monster that I'm saving for the next time I go. Seems like it's always pretty busy and it can be hard to find seating at the restaurant so might make more sense to get it to go, but the food is definitely worth the wait. Loved the pickles on the burger -- adds a whole new depth of flavor and some crunch.

I came in on May 16th during a pretty busy dinner hour and after ordering a pretty good sized order, inquired about a military discount, the waitress said no, which was fine so I paid and sat down, not knowing the owner was there, he said that they did have a military discount and since the waitress forgot, he proceeded to bring me and my friend two free burgers and loaded fries because he felt bad. QUALITY SERVICE, QUALITY FOOD!!!!! 10/10 would recommend if you are in the greater Los Angeles area, or even worth a drive up from San Diego. Has a great local spot feel even when filled with tourists and some of the best customer service I have gotten in Los Angeles

I rarely go out of my way to write yelp reviews. That being said this place was so great I had to. When I go to get a burger I'm never concerned about the customer service of the places I get my burgers. Yet, when I came here the customer service was so good I already wanted to right a review about that. The line was out the door I was asking a lot of questions about what to get even though the menus small. Still, the workers were super patient, nice and helpful. It literally made my day. Now to the food, I'm normally skeptical when it comes to places with a lot of hype and I still held that skepticism after the customer service. The food blew me away, I have never had a smash burger like that. That burger was 1/1 which is something I think makes this place special. I can get a burger anywhere but these smash burgers are only here. Any negatives in the review I think are just peoples person preference because I'm telling you, this is one of those places you have got to try. So if you are thinking about it or looking at the reviews just try this place.

This place was really good! Line can get pretty long, but for good reason. Everything we had here was fire!! We loved it. The Cajun fries, even though I took some home, was still good cold. That's how you know those are good fries. The jalapeño monster was not as spicy as I thought it would be but I really liked it, because it gave the burger a crunch. My friend said the wild fries is like a better version of animal style fries. Theres parking in the back, but there's also street parking. We were in and out within 45 min, and we even ordered takeout for our friends after we dined in too. So, it goes pretty fast. 10/10 I would come again!
